COGENT's optional Enterprise Forwarding Manager (EFM) automates the process of outsourcing claims to your outside agency and attorney receivers while allowing you to monitor detailed analytics and identify which receivers are performing best for you.
Cogent EFM enables you to define separate business rules at the organization and client levels that identify claims eligible to be forwarded to an outside collection agency or attorney firm. These business rules are user-defined and can easily be modified to allow you to identify exactly which accounts you want to forward.
Once your eligible claims are identified, Cogent EFM automatically assigns them to your receivers, based on each receiver profile. Parameters on a receiver's profile define the attributes of the claims that can be assigned to that receiver, including:
The assignments are reviewed and accepted in order to create placement files, which can be done manually or queued up to be generated at a scheduled time.The Cogent EFM is compatible with placement and update export files in the standard YGC (You've got claims) format or XML (using Cogent's XML definitions). Using the Cogent data translator, standard XML files can also be translated after export to standard EDI file layouts or even into your own custom text or Excel layouts.
